Bane and Batman do not get along, and whenever he’s in town it’s generally not a good time for anybody. Two men with seemingly limitless willpower, constantly clashing. It’s not too surprising that in his homeland of Santa Prisca, his rule inspires both fear and reverence. If only he’d stay there.

This time (and not for the first time) Bane has declared his presence in the city as grounds to prevent any sort of Justice League interference. Granted, for some reason the League seems to only rarely come to Gotham despite the city’s various catastrophes, but it’s nobody in and nobody out.
